Property Development

We are planning an exciting property development that will benefit the people of Rowville and surrounding suburbs. It will provide some of the facilities and services the area really needs.

We turned the sod on Stage One of this development during the Morning Service on Sunday September 14 2009.
Earth works are now underway on the sealed carpark and various in-ground services.



We dedicated the Wellington Care Centre to the Lord on February 28th , 2010

We have about 2.8 hectares of land located on a major road (Wellington Road). A few years ago we decided to develop our property to accommodate the church's growth and to provide infrastructure and programmes to serve the local community. After extensive community consultation, we identified some significant needs, particularly in regard to youth and families. We then engaged architects to lead the process of designing buildings to serve these needs. In 2006 a planning permit was obtained to develop the following:

• Youth Drop-In Centre
• Counselling Centre, including Group Seminar Room
• Auditorium to seat 500 people
• Function Room
• Cafe
• Food and Clothing Distribution Space
• Prayer Chapel and Garden
• Playgroup Area and various supporting facilities.

These facilities will provide spaces for a range of community ministries. Rowville Baptist aims to grow as a provider of help, healing and hope to people living in the area. We want to use our resources to be a good neighbour to those around us.
